Ribbon toolbar & tools — quick reference
A cheat sheet for the buttons along the top of Accounts Payable screens and maintenance tools.
A cheat sheet for the buttons along the top of the Accounts Payable screens, plus the maintenance tools. Most of these you'll rarely touch — they're here so you know what they do.
Ribbon toolbar (A/P module)
- All Invoices — view every invoice (used for voucher sign-off).
- Unpaid Invoices — view only invoices still to be paid.
- Payment History — look up what's already been paid.
Select Tool — maintenance utilities
> ⚠️ These are housekeeping tools. Use them deliberately — some change or remove data.
- Remove/Delete Vendors — delete a vendor record.
- Redo 1099 — rebuild 1099 data (e.g., after fixing a vendor's 1099 flag).
- Move AP Temp to Master — push temporary transactions into the master tables (this is what Enhanced offers to do when you save an invoice).
- List AP Header w/o Master — find header records missing their master record (troubleshooting).
- Rebuild Invoice Count — recalculate invoice counts if they look off.
A note on bank/checking accounts
Enhanced prefers a small number of consolidated checking accounts that act as clearing accounts for every check it processes — for example `200.99` for payroll and `200.96` for accounts payable. This streamlines reporting and reconciliation, but you can set up as many checking accounts as you need.
You can set the default A/P and P/R checking accounts under System Utilities → System Initialization/Setup → Organizational Profile → General Ledger tab. Enhanced then assigns the right account automatically when it processes checks.
→ Back to: the everyday A/P cycle or the ACH setup workflow.
