Set up ACH vendor payments — start to finish
A start-here map for one-time ACH setup: bank, file location, vendors, and your first electronic payment run.
A start-here map. ACH lets you pay vendors electronically instead of printing checks. Setting it up is a one-time job with four short steps. Do them in order — each links to a full how-to.
You'll only do this once. After it's set up, paying by ACH is part of your normal payment routine.
1. Set up your bank for ACH transfers — tell Enhanced about the checking account the money will come from.
2. Tell Enhanced where to save ACH files — pick the folder where the electronic payment file will be created.
3. Set up a vendor for ACH payments — switch each vendor you want to pay electronically from "Check" to "ACH."
4. Pay vendors by ACH or wire → then upload the file to your bank — your first electronic payment run.
> Tip: Steps 1 and 2 are done once for your whole organization. Step 3 is done once per vendor. After that you live in step 4.
