Fix a mistake on an invoice — as long as it hasn't been posted or selected for payment yet.
Where: Accounts Payable → Vendor Invoices → Edit
Can I still edit it?
You can edit an invoice until either of these happens:
- It's been posted (updated to the General Ledger), or
- It's been selected for payment (you pressed Set under Actions → Select Vendor Invoices to be paid).
If it's selected for payment, you can free it up again — see the note at the end.
Steps
1. On the Add or Edit Vendor Invoices box, click Edit.

If the invoice was already selected for payment
Go to Actions → Select Vendor Invoices to be paid and press Reset to unselect it. The invoice is now editable again.
→ Next step: Back to paying vendors, or delete the invoice entirely if it shouldn't exist.
